Description

Join PWD, Loon Echo Land Trust and Lakes Environmental Association at the Intervale Preserve in Harrison for a fascinating hike and talk along the banks of the Crooked River. This magnificent river is famous for salmon, trout, towering pines and exceptional water quality. PWD and our partners will lead guests on a snowshoe hike and discuss why the Crooked River is so important to Greater Portland and the many ways that land conservation is beneficial to humans, animals and the environment. This will be a moderately difficult hike.
